Todd Williams, A.K.A. The Tech Apologist, is a 27 year veteran of the Information Technology industry.
Todd has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee-Martin, and has worked for companies such as GTE Directories, Bell-Helicopter and Health Services Corporation of America (now MedAssets, Inc), and the organizations Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois Board of Higher Education, Illinois Century Network, and Marion Community Unit School District #2. He currently works for Southeast Missouri State University as the IT Help Desk Supervisor.
Much of Todd’s career has been spent providing technical support both to internal staff and external customers. A gifted presenter, and communicator, Todd has always enjoyed relating technical concepts to non-technical users, while being able to communicate with those with more technical backgrounds.
Todd has also provided narration and voice-over to projects through out his career, beginning in high school, and later on in radio as a color commentator for high school basketball. He is married, has one child and lives in his hometown in Southern Illinois.
